Reasons to be Grateful

I can't believe it's two years since this day; and this one. The anniversary of the transplant that kicked off this blog is being celebrated in style in our house. To all of you who have walked this road with us, we say: thank you, from the bottom of our remaining internal organs!

Please know that you have played a fundamental role in our survival and success. So raise a glass to organ donors everywhere, but in this week of rememberence, let us also think of those who have not had our good fortune.

Thank you for sticking with us: it has made a really big difference in our lives.

Cheers, (she said raising her glass..)

Ann

I hadn't had the pleasure of discovering your blog 2 years ago but when I did find it, I went back and devoured it from the beginning as I was fascinated by your story and by the brilliant way you have of telling it.

Reading those two moving posts for a second time, has confirmed what I've always thought...

You are an amazingly plucky woman considering what you've all been through and continue to go through and I've no doubt that your determination to get the best out of the situation you find yourselves in, is what keeps you firmly grounded.

I shall raise my glass to you all this evening and please tell boy wonder, Steph sends a HUGE hug!

Cheers!

Thank you so much Steph - what a lovely compliment - I could say it takes one to know one though!
We had a lovely celebration, we just feel extremely blessed for our good fortune.

Onwards, and upwards........
Cheers
